Walk right next door to Suite J for Miguel's Restaurante, our brand-new neighbor that opened this past March. This is real Oaxacan cooking — steak, seafood, authentic Oaxaca dishes, plus Southern lunch specials, all cooked with olive oil. Get the tlayudas and the fajitas, and on Fridays, the catfish — and start with the guacamole, made fresh on the spot. You already know the rule: if you don't know what to order, now you do.

Stop 3: Shogun Ridgeland — still in the same plaza

Yes, still in the same plaza — Suite K is Shogun Ridgeland, and it is a whole vibe. Fresh sushi, seafood boils, hibachi favorites, wings, fried seafood — literally something for every craving. My order? The seafood boil and the hibachi steak. Dine in or take it to go, either way you're eating good.

Stop 4: TayTay's Sweets — save room, trust me

Take a quick hop up US-51 to TayTay's Sweets (610 US-51, Suite B) for the grand finale, because their biscotti cookie is to die for. I said what I said.
